Robyn Albeke Photographer/Gallerist
Hi I’m Robyn! I grew up in Augusta, Ga surrounded by the arts. My first dance & art classes were before I even started elementary. In 6th grade I was accepted into Davidson Fine Arts School. Though dance was my primary, I quickly found a home in photography & writing as well. My college years were spent in the Lamar Dodd School of Art at UGA. I majored in photography & fell in love with art history. I’ve always been fascinated with photographs & other depictions of the past! Over the years I have managed a fine art photography studio & owned an events photography business. I still live in Athens with my daughter, ancient cat & 2 parakeets. Life took me in a different direction than the art world for a while. But after my mother’s passing, a bizarre series of events has brought me back & I’m so happy to be here again! I hope to represent some amazing artists wherever they may be on their journey & bring some beautiful work to your ears, heart & home. Thank You for taking the time to visit Waxing Phoenix Virtual Gallery. WPG is dedicated to Piper, Marilyn & Lou.
